Programmed 2008-2009 VUE Fuel Pump Control Module 25785013

A customer brought in their ’08 Saturn VUE with a complaint that stumped two other shops: intermittent stalling at stoplights, but only when the weather was hot. There were no consistent trouble codes, just a history of a P069E (Fuel Pump Control Module Commanded Off) that would clear itself. We checked fuel pressure, which seemed fine during testing. Instead of just throwing a fuel pump at it, I focused on the FPCM. Knowing these modules are prone to heat-related failure, we swapped in a pre-programmed unit. The customer called a week later, thrilled. The stalling was completely gone. It was a classic case where the module, not the pump, was the true culprit.
