Restore Your 4×4 with a Reliable, Pre-Programmed TCCM
Real-World Repair Story
A few months back, a customer brought his 2011 Sierra 2500 into my shop. He was frustrated because his truck was completely unresponsive to the 4WD switch, and the ‘Service 4WD’ light was glaring at him. He was worried about a massive repair bill, thinking the transfer case itself was shot. After a quick scan, I pulled code C0327—an encoder motor circuit fault. While this can sometimes be the motor, my experience pointed to the TCCM. The module wasn’t sending the right signals. We swapped in one of our VIN-programmed modules, and in less than 15 minutes, the light was off, and the 4WD system was shifting perfectly. He saved himself a potential misdiagnosis and hundreds in dealer programming fees.
