Is Your GM Truck or SUV Acting Up? Get a Permanent Fix.
If you’re dealing with a persistent check engine light, erratic engine behavior, a no-start condition, or failing emissions tests on your 2003-2006 Escalade, Silverado, Tahoe, or other compatible GM vehicle, a failing Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is a very likely culprit. As a mechanic with over 20 years on the floor, I’ve seen these exact modules cause headaches that seem impossible to diagnose. This isn’t just a replacement part; it’s a direct solution that restores your vehicle’s factory performance and reliability.
This PCM, compatible with service number 12582605, is the brain of your engine and transmission. When it fails, it can send the entire system into chaos. We solve this problem by providing a high-quality replacement computer that is professionally programmed to your vehicle’s specific Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) before it ever leaves our facility. This means it arrives loaded with the latest software updates from General Motors, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
From the Shop Floor: A Real-World Scenario
“A customer’s 2005 Silverado 1500 came in last week with a random misfire (P0300) and a harsh 1-2 shift that no amount of transmission service would fix. After confirming the fuel and ignition systems were healthy, we suspected the PCM. The original module wasn’t sending a consistent signal to the #3 injector. Instead of a costly and time-consuming trip to the dealer, we installed one of our VIN-programmed PCMs. The truck immediately started and ran perfectly, the shifting smoothed out, and the check engine light was gone for good. This is the kind of straightforward fix we provide.”
Why Choose Our Programmed 2003-2006 Escalade PCM?

- โ Solves Common Issues: A direct fix for DTCs like P0601, P0606, communication errors, and erratic component behavior.
- โ Broad Compatibility: Replaces a wide range of service numbers including 89017750, 12582605, 12589463, 12602802, 89017734, and 28042802.
Plug-and-Play Installation: No Dealer Visit Required
You can install this module yourself with basic hand tools. Most of these PCMs are located in the engine bay on the driver’s side, near the battery or airbox.
- Safety First: Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 10 minutes for the system to discharge.
- Locate the PCM: Find the existing module. It will have several large multi-pin connectors.
- Disconnect and Remove: Carefully unplug the wiring harness connectors. They have locking tabs that need to be released. Then, unbolt the module from its bracket.
- Install the New PCM: Bolt the new module in place and securely reconnect the wiring harnesses. Ensure they click into place.
- Reconnect Battery: Reattach the negative battery terminal.
- Perform Security Relearn (CASE): Turn the key to the ‘ON’ position for 11 minutes. Turn it ‘OFF’ for 30 seconds. Repeat this cycle two more times (for a total of 3 cycles). On the fourth try, the vehicle will start and run, with the security system synced to the new PCM.
Don’t let a faulty computer keep your truck sidelined. Provide us with your VIN at checkout, and we’ll ship a fully programmed, ready-to-install PCM directly to you. It’s the most reliable and efficient way to restore your vehicle’s health.
