Restore Your 4WD System with a Reliable, Programmed TCCM
How does the VIN programming work?
After you place your order, you will need to provide us with your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Our technicians use this to load the specific GM software for your vehicle’s configuration onto the module before shipping. This ensures it works correctly right out of the box.
Do I need any special tools for installation?
No. The installation can be completed with basic hand tools like a socket set and a trim removal tool. The most important part is that our pre-programming service means you do NOT need a dealership scan tool.
Is this a new or used part?
This is a high-quality, inspected, and tested used component that has been professionally programmed with the latest software for your vehicle, ensuring reliable performance.
What if I have a different part number on my old module?
The list of compatible part numbers in this description covers a wide range of original parts. As long as your vehicle model and year are listed, and your old part number is on our compatibility list, this module will function as a direct replacement.
Will this fix my ‘Service 4WD’ light?
In the vast majority of cases where the TCCM is the source of the problem, yes. This module is designed to resolve issues caused by a failed TCCM, including the warning light and inability to shift drive modes.
Where do I find the TCCM in my Suburban?
In most 2008-2014 Suburbans and other GMT900 platform trucks/SUVs, the TCCM is mounted high in the driver’s side dash area, to the left of the steering column. Removing the lower knee bolster panel will provide access.
