1. Safety First: Always disconnect the negative terminal from your vehicle’s battery and wait a few minutes to allow the systems to power down completely.

3. Remove and Replace: Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors. They have locking tabs that need to be pressed. Unbolt or unclip the old BCM and remove it. Install the new module in its place and securely reconnect all electrical harnesses.
4. Reconnect Power: Re-attach the negative battery terminal.
5. Perform Relearn Procedures: This is a critical step. You will need a capable diagnostic scan tool.
