Easy Installation Guide
You can do this job yourself with basic hand tools. For the 2003 Savana and Express vans, the PCM is located in the rear of the engine compartment on the driver’s side.
- Safety First: Disconnect the negative terminal from your vehicle’s battery and wait 10-15 minutes for the system capacitors to discharge.
- Locate the PCM: Find the module in the driver’s side rear of the engine bay.
- Disconnect Connectors: These GM connectors often have a lever-lock mechanism. Gently lift or slide the colored levers to release the wiring harnesses. Never force them.
